What We Believe:

WE BELIEVE...

§ That THE BIBLE is the only inspired, inerrant, infallible, authoritative Word of God written.

§ That THE TRINITY is one God, eternally existent in three “persons”: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

§ In the LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST. We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

§ In man's need for REDEMPTION. That humanity is lost and sinful and in need of regeneration by the Holy Spirit.

§ That through the HOLY SPIRIT by whose indwelling, power, and fullness, a Christian is enabled to live a Godly life in this present evil world.

§ In the RESURRECTION of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved are saved into the resurrection of life; those who are lost will be separated from God for eternity.

§ That SALVATION is a free gift of Godly grace, offered to us on the basis of Jesus Christ's substitutionary death on the cross. Salvation is received personally by recognition and repentance for sin, and by believing (faith) that Christ's death paid the price for that sin, and secures for the individual a place within God's eternal kingdom. This salvation provides for the believer the provisions for victory over the power of sin in this life.

§ In a CONGREGATIONAL FORM OF CHURCH GOVERNMENT. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Head of His Body, the Church universal, and that the local church is answerable only to Christ, and not to any association, conference, council, synod, or any other ecclesiastical body.
